In early 2019, the founder , Prof. Meng-chou Lee, and his research team discovered strong fluorophore brightness and other biological characteristics in a newly identified algae species exclusive to coastal region of Taiwan. Later, won USD $1M research grant from the Taiwanese Government's MOST Value Creation Program
